Omar Suwarno was born in Seattle, WA but grew up in Arizona.  He attended the University of Arizona earning a masters degree in electrical/biomedical engineering and worked as an engineer for 10 years before pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant.  He attended the University of Iowa earning a masters degree in physician assistant studies.  Omar, his wife, son and dog have been in Bellingham since 2003.  He enjoys swimming, sea kayaking and spending time with his family.
