Dr. Witte grew up in Massachusetts and New York and attended Tufts University. He studied medicine at the Medical College of Virginia of Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV/VCU). His residency training in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology were completed at The George Washington University in Washington DC. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Highlights to his career include practicing medicine in Brisbane, Australia and training accomplished through the University of British Columbia. In relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Witte is joined by his wife, who is from Vancouver Island, their newborn twin sons, two cats and their Great Dane.
